June 26, 1858 First Baptist Church Established

June 27, 1858 First worship service held

1868 First worship center erected at the corner of Park Ave & Garnavillo St

1886 Sunday School addition erected

1965 New Education building erected

1984 Engineer reported worship center to be beyond repair

1984 Land purchased for new worship center

1989 Old worship center and education building sold

April 15, 1990 Ground Breaking ceremony held for new worship center

Nov. 18, 1990 First worship service and dedication; ceremonies held at the new worship center

Dec. 2, 1995 Mortgage Burning Ceremony and Victory Celebration
