I draw my talents from my Grandmother Dean's gene pool. My great-aunt Marie was a fabulous artist and I am so lucky to have some of her original work for inspiration.I began painting while teaching high school in the early 1980'S. Due to the birth of my daughter, I became a painting class drop out and shelved my desire to paint for about three years.
In 1987 I began painting again and taught myself acrylics using my oil painting techniques. I have developed my own style and painting has become my passion.
As not to burn out, I also have applied my over thirty years of sewing background to making doll, Santa's, snowmen and various other critters.
Enjoy my creations ... for a little bit of my "Heart and Soul" is in everyone.
