Gloria Dei is one of the first congregations of the Southeastern Iowa Synod's Companion Synod Program. Through this program our Synod is seeking to match its congregations with congrgations of the Pare diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tanzania (ELCT). Gloria Dei is excited to have Bombo Lutheran Church as its companion congregation which is located on the hillsides of Mount Kilimanjaro.
