Mass-merchant stores where you can buy large inexpensive candles import their candles from countries that use lead in their wicks.  Our candles are made using zinc-cord wicks that burn longer at a cooler temperature.   High quality wax lasts long and retains its color.  Double scenting our candles allows for long scent life and ability to use in a candle warmer.
