A "bad-girl" variant of ISOD #1 was slated to appear inA-Bomb #18 from Antarctic Press when Shon Howell was editor. Unfortunately the A-Bomb was canceled at issue #16. Pexellia Bast (Flexia's cousin with a screw loose) was rewritten into the antagonist role (formerly belonging to the Dinoman ) , plus this version included the first extended look at the Leians' homeworld. These are my three favorite ISOD pages (so far).

Note that the version of Pex in the A-Bomb pages had "tabby hair" back then. Pex has since been redesigned to have "calico hair" (above) as a tongue in cheek tribute to my "little fatty cat". Many earlier versions of Pex went through many variations of boxy polecattish hairdos.
