Character bio: This self-assured, competent, Leian (leonine humanoid from a planet orbiting Tau Ceti) 'heavy duty beauty' is InterStellar OverDrive's probable break out character. She's silent strength, intelligence, virtue and reserve contrasting with a feral soul and "tigressive" physical appearance. Flexia was born into a prosperous family of the imperial Leian warrior caste of her planet's Trusrisian Royal Empire. She carries the pain of being widowed young (mighty warrior spouse died an ironic death) and of experiences as an interplanetary mercenary. Flexia has won a special honorary post in the Hampion Auxiliary for saving several of its members from a embarrassing situation. She is currently an alien student at a Midwest land-grant university learning politics and business to help the family business deal with Earthlings. Fang plays in the Psubatomic Byrdbath, V.U. Meter's underground rock band.

Character history: Fang was first conceived in 1980 as a Loni Anderson-like villianess-parody furry. After being influenced by Taarna in Heavy Metal; The Movie, Flexia evolved into the mighty heroine we know today. Plus she's my all time favorite character. Fang has co-starred in Captain Saucer , stars in InterStellar OverDrive , makes guest appearances in Fanboy and Generation XXX, and is the offical spokesbabe for Leonine Press Comics.
