This could have been Doug Holverson's Website, but I don't look as stunning as fabulous Flexia....

I was born in the gap between the Boomers and Xers (and feel more affinity towards the latter), raised on farm, watched original Star Trek reruns and Saturday morning cartoons, launched model rockets (particularly found of Centuri ), did chores, and day dreamed about interstellar flight to places far away from the farm. I am a former tractor mechanic, former automated pneumatic turret press operator, former graphics work station operator, an ex-nuclear worker, sometimes Mensa member. I have an IWCC electronics degree and UTI commercial art degree. I have put out about three dozen small press comic books (plus gobs of other stuff), see bibliography including Captain Saucer and Fanboy, and created InterStellar OverDrive. |

This is my "family", Wing Ding and Neko Mimi, two cats contemplating the coffee table of tomorrow. Wing Ding is the half tabby, half calico who whines when you tickle her belly. Her name is an injoke between a high school bud and me. Neko Mimi is the little black cat with a big attitude. Her name means "cat girl" Japanese fanboy, because she's a girl cat. |

I'm been a fan of Modern Rock ever since back in the good ol' days when they called it "New Wave"....
My favorite current band is Sonic Youth. My all time favorite band is The Velvet Underground. All time favorite LP is White Light/White Heat. All time favorite song is Flipper's "Sex Bomb" (also
Flexia's
leitmotif). Current favorite CD is The Moog Cookbook. Current favorite summer time song is
(ironically) Collective Soul's "December". Current favorite winter time song is Pere Ubu's "Street Waves" ( bought their Datapanik in the Year Zero boxed set). Fave springtime song: Space's "Female of the Species" Then there's Camper Van Beethoven's cover of InterStellar OverDrive....

Did I tell you that I also like Studebakers? I have '47 Champion and '41 Commander beaters, and gobs of pickup junk that I don't have the time or money to fix up. Plus a rough but rust free 1957 silver hawk. A great adult toy! BTW- My other car (daily driver) is a '90 Mark VII. |

I also like big orange tractors. Grandpa was an Allis Chalmers dealer (Skow Farm Equipment in Moorhead, Iowa, no longer there). |

My favorite childhood toy was Fischer Technik, sort of a modular, precision, high-tech, German Erector Set. Did anybody else play with it? |
