Present Prayer Concerns
There will be a list placed
in the church where prayer concerns can be added each week - and
of course, a message about specific prayer concerns can always
be left on the church phone. Contact Faith at 563-682-7629.
Prayer Partners Ministry
At the recent Evangelism conference
in Denver, I learned of another prayer ministry which, in addition
to the prayer chain, will allow us to participate in prayer weekly
and intentionally. The Prayer Partners Ministry is organized in
this way. First, a list of volunteers who are willing to pray
daily will be established. There will be a new area, named "Prayer Partners" on the next "Sharing my Gifts for Ministry" survery which will be distributed
in February. At the beginning of each week, the Pastor or another
leader will compile a list of persons, joys, and concerns to be
sent in the mail to the list of prayer volunteers. The ministry
is quite simple but incredibly important. Each day during the
week, each Prayer Partner
Volunteer will pray
for the people, the joys, and concerns included in the list. They
may pray at any time during the day - participating in this ministry
within their own scheduling time frame.
There will be a list placed
in the church where prayer concerns can be added each week - and
of course, a message about specific prayer concerns can always
be left on the church phone. It is my prayer that we will be able
to begin this Prayer
Partners Ministry in
March. If you would like to serve as a Prayer Partner, please
contact the church office at 563-682-7629 - Pastor Wolf
FLCW Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is an integral
and important part of the ongoing ministries at Faith Lutheran.
I give thanks to those who participate in this powerful ministry.

Prayer Chains
- 1. A
prayer chain is a group of volunteers promising to pray in sequence
when requested.
- 2. When
you have a special prayer request, please contact Joyce Krogmann
(682-7555), Leola Eggers (687-2688), or Ginny Eggers (242-4326).
If the above ladies do not answer, try another lady at the head
of a different chain. The lady called will start her prayer chain,
call the other ladies to start the other chains, and inform Pastor
Wolf of the prayer request.
- 3. When
a prayer request comes to the leader, number one, she calls number
two, who in turn calls number three, etc. (If a person you are
supposed to call does not answer, call the next person on your
list. Try to notify your sequence call later).
- 4. The
last one on the list calls the leader to tell her that the entire
chain has been alerted to pray for the concern.
- 5.If
the prayer chain you are on is not working, or if you want to
be on a different prayer list, please inform a Women's Board
member. Also inform us if we omitted your name.
- 6. New
prayer chain partners are always welcome. Please contact Tricia
Perron, if interested.
