Elliott, Iowa founded in 1879, Montgomery County

Population: 402

Elliott was named for Charles Elliott Perkins, Vice President of C.B.& Q. Railroad, who bought the tract of land that Elliott sits on today.

Elliott is a farm-oriented community located in southwest Iowa 12 miles north of Red Oak and 8 miles south of Griswold on Iowa Highway 48.

Elliott makes an ideal place to raise a family; small town values are hard to beat. Elliott’s location makes an ideal drive to Red Oak, Griswold, Atlantic and Omaha for work or play.
