a. Initiate primary survey upon contact with the patient, which includes a rapid assessment of the patient's airway breathing, and circulatory status.
b. Priorities the patient's condition and classifies as emergent, urgent, or non-urgent (triages).
c. Initiates emergency measures as appropriate.
d. Initiates and completes secondary survey appropriately considering the patient's condition, chief complaint, and environmental factors.
e. Performs intermittent assessments as patient condition warrants with focus on organ/system pathology.
