I would like t start by saying thank you to Amy for hitting the Rotary Ann Home Brick Building. That stunt gets me out of the running for the stupid award for year 2001. On that note 402 will be the first response vehicle until 403 is repaired. A little reminder each ambulance have three set of keys, one set in the ignition and the other are hanging up in front of the cab. All compartment doors are locked and you will need to unlock the door in order to get a piece of equipment, please get into the habit of locking up the rig on scene and grapping the keys before you leave the ambulance.
Currently on E.G. EMS website I have couple of add on's. The first item would be appendix to our protocols. The appendix includes all the department medication. This appendix explains the use of the medication that we currently carry. This site can be a great review. The second add on would be our response to Hazmat Incident. Please review both.
The bulletin board at the station has been updated to give resources of information regarding threats hazards to EMS providers in the State. As information comes my way, I will post it on the board for all members to see.
The Wright County Emergency Management will be receiving money from the Federal Government. The money is to be used for preparation for Weapons of Mass Destruction. I will be meeting with committee regarding the money. If you have some idea about what to spend the money on please let me know.
Shayne Hennigar will be putting on a Health Care Provider Course November 10, in Clarion.
