DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: Federal rent assistance through the Section 8 program.

ELIGIBILITY: Must meet federal income guidelines. Program was established for families, elderly, and disabled individuals. Single, non-disabled adults may apply, but will be assisted after all others who qualify.

AREA SERVED: Calhoun, Hamilton, Humboldt, Pocahontas, Webster, and Wright Counties.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Complete pre-application and submit to office with verification of income to be placed on the waiting list. Applicants assisted on a date-applied basis with consideration being given to those meeting preference criteria.
