![]() Where is the Dunkerton Child Learning Center located? How long will the Dunkerton Child Learning Center be in the temporary location? When will the Dunkerton Child Learning Center be open? How many children will the DCLC accommodate? How much will it cost for my child's care? How do I enroll my child? How do I get a Parent Handbook? Is there any way I can help with the Dunkerton Child Learning Center?
The Dunkerton Child Learning Center opened for business on Monday, August 23, 2004 and is temporarily located in the educational wing of the First United Methodist Church, 301 S. Washington Street, Dunkerton, Iowa 50626. This facility is licensed and meets all of the guidelines established by the Department of Human Services.
Current plans are to remain in the United Methodist Church for two years. The Board of Directors is actively researching grant materials and pursuing funding sources in order to establish a permanent location. The long-range goals of the Center are to construct a new building within the Dunkerton community.
The Dunkerton Child Learning Center is open from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Dunkerton Child Learning Center is licensed to serve 45 children and offers quality child care to infants through age 12. Before school and after school care are also offered. Current enrollment at the center stands at 63 children with an average daily attendance of approximately 30 children. No more than 45 children may be in attendance at the center at any given time.
The following fee schedule is in effect for 2006.
