Welcome Welcome to the Davis County Democrats Webpage. We are committed to electing Democrats on a local, state and national level. We are also involved in many local community events Fall Soup Supper The Davis County Democrats Fall Soup Supper will be Saturday November 03, 2007 at the Drakesville City Park Building. We are expecting many of our state and local elected officials. Congressman Dave Loebsack has been invited as well. We also have several presidential campaigns that will have representatives at the Soup Supper. The event starts at 5:30 pm with supper served around 6:00. Cheryll Jones, Davis County Democratic Chair Wins Award Cheryll Jones, Chair of the Davis County Democratic Central Committee was named the 2007 recipient of the Bob Creech Award for Outstanding Democratic Party County Chair. “The Hall of Fame Outstanding Supporter Awards honor individuals who have supported the Iowa Democratic Party, as well as all aspects of Democratic politics, and shown that commitment over many years,” said Scott Brennan, Iowa Democratic Party State Chair. Meetings The Davis County Democrats meeting on the second Tuesday of every month in the courtroom of the Davis County Courthouse is Bloomfield Iowa. The meetings start at 7:00 pm.
