Hi! I'm Elizabeth and I'm twelve years old. I'm in seventh grade. My Mom home schools me. We have a school room that we have to work in each school day. I like to do handwriting the best. I like bugs. I have bug books that help me learn about different bugs. That's why I had a bug cake for my birthday last year. It is a caterpillar. When I lived in Illinois my Grammie Goupille sent me the seeds to plant a butterfly garden. We made it a circle, and the butterflies really came to it. I like to do science projects too. One time I put vinegar in a bottle and a balloon on top with baking soda in it. Then I turned the bottle over so the vinegar went into the balloon. Then I turned it right side up and the balloon stuck straight up! Another time I planted five beans in different cups to see which bean plant would grow the best. Another time I put beans in a jar and a wet paper towel over them and they started to grow! I got a bird in July. (2001) It is a parakeet and I named
him Glory. He is green and yellow. (see picture below) He used to perch on my shoulder
and ride around, but now when he gets out of his cage,
