Tree Farm is a member of the Iowa Christmas Tree Growers Association. We have been
members since our first year of planting in 1990. We have 5 acres of Christmas trees planted
on our acreage. We believe that family is a very important part of the season and you can find
our family around and ready to help with any questions you may have.

Country Pinesis a "Full Service" tree farm. We provide all the equipment needed to cut your Christmas tree-a hand saw and a wagon to bring your tree to the barn. We shake the tree to rid it of any dead needles. We net the tree which wraps the tree tightly together for easy travel and set up in your home. All trees are $27.50 which includes shaking, baling, tax, and a tree bag for disposal after Christmas.

If you have always dreamed of a white Christmas, we can do that, too! We have a flocking machine that can turn your green tree white. These trees will be available opening weekend. We also have a full array of wreaths and swags for sale. We make all of these in the barn from our own trees. We have wreath sizes from 12 inches to 40 inches. The wreaths and swags are green and we also flock some in all sizes. They all have hand-made bows in a variety of colors.

We sell the Cedar Valley tree stand that accepts a big trunk and will make any tree stand straight. It holds a large amount of water and that's important to keep your tree fresh through the season. This stand may save your marriage!!!!.
*Hint-Use hot water the first 2 days to soften the sap and allow the tree to take water.
New this year to "The Barn" will be a seasonal gift shop with ornaments, snowmen, Santa lamps, and wood items.
Opening Schedule and Location
We open the Saturday before Thanksgiving and are then open Fridays and Saturdays at daylight hours and Sundays beginning at noon and other days by chance. Give us a call at 712-436-2636 and we'll work around your schedule. We are located 9 miles West from Cherokee on C-38 and 1 mile North on G avenue. From Marcus we are located 3 miles South on L-36 and 3 miles East on 520th Street. From the C-38 and L-36 corner we are located 3 miles East and 1 mile North on G avenue (map). Please stop in and look at our selection. The barn is warm and the cider is hot.
