School Information
The Colo-Nesco school district covers 178 square miles which includes the communities of
Colo, McCallsburg and Zearing and the adjacent rural areas. The Colo-Nesco High School is
located in Colo, the Middle School is in Zearing and the Elementary schools are in Colo and
McCallsburg. The population of the school district is approximately 3,500 and the number of
students in the system is approximately 630.
