Travel the Lincoln or Jefferson Highway to the "one-stop" destination
of many travelers during the
1940's. The Reed/Niland Corner provides a self-guided walking tour of this recently renovated site. As
you walk along the pathways, you will learn its history and view the actual motel facilities and gas
station with its artifacts. Complete your self-guided tour by walking into the Niland Cafe to experience
a large selection of fine foods in a cozy 40's period atmosphere. Choose to dine at the counter, in the
large corner booth or the table next to the 1939 Cadillac. Select your dining music from the period jute
box and view the large photo and video display of the original site and actual Lincoln Highway
Construction. A visit to the Reed/Niland Corner will take you back to the 40's!
