The new library was completed in 1999. It offers a combined
total of over 7500 books for children and adults, a wide range
of magazines, audio books, videos, 6 computers - 5 of which are
internet accessible, a scanner, printers and a copier, microfilm
reader and files of old Brooklyn newspapers, children's room,
and a conference room. The Library is governed by a board of trustees,
and helped by the Friends of the Library, a volunteer group who
assists with adult and youth programs.
