Raiders earn titles at Marion

Three Williamsburg varsity wrestlers earned titles and the Raiders team earned its second team title of the season at the Marion Invitational Saturday, Jan. 12 in Marion.
The Raiders neared the 200-point mark as a team with 199.5 points for the team crown.
Seth Bean (171), Holden Blythe (215) and Austin Blythe (285) all won championships for the Raiders. Jake Masterson (145) and Quintin Bryant (189) were tournament silver medalists for Williamsburg. Anthony Davis (119). Brandt Marine (135) and Quintin Bryant (189) earned third place medals for the Raiders.
Williamsburg had wrestlers place in the top six in all but two weight classes at the tournament.

Raiders sweep at Tiffin
Williamsburg moved to 12-0 on the season with a pair of conference victories in Tiffin Wednesday, Jan. 9. The Raiders knocked off Iowa City Regina by a 72-12 final and then drubbed host Clear Creek Amana by a 64-9 final.
Ten Raiders went 2-0 on the evening including Paul Huinker (112), Brandt Marine (135), Brandt Brenneman (140), Jake Masterson (152), Brett Waughop (160), Seth Bean (171), Quintin Bryant (189), Holden Blythe (215) and Austin Blythe (285).
