DECEMBER

Dec. 5: Christmas in Norway. Lighted parade, 6 p.m.; fireworks, light lunch, entertainment, door prizes at school after parade.

Dec. 5-6: Belle Plaine’s Christmas Homecoming. Saturday, Dec. 5:  First Lutheran Church Cookie Walk, 1523 Sunset Drive, begins at 9 a.m.; Athena Club’s Lunch with Santa at the Belle Plaine Community Library, 11a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; free children’s movie at the King Theater Saturday afternoon; Christmas tree lighting on 12th Street. Sunday, Dec. 6:  Housewalk sponsored by the Belle Plaine junior class, soup supper at Christ United Methodist Church, 708 15th St, followed by Prelude to Christmas concert, 7 p.m.
