Find our website, at www.belleplaine.lib.ia.us If you would like to sign up for a password to be able to renew materials from home, you need to come to the library to set one up. Check out the photo tab and see pictures for the summer program!

Summer reading programs: We have programs for ages all ages. We will have programs, and reading logs for reading at home.

Programs for teens will be June 23 and 30 at 1 to 2 p.m.; programs for 18 months to 3 years, Friday June 25 from 9:30 to 10 a.m.; pre-school to completed first grade, 11 to 11:45 a.m.; and second to sixth graders, 1 to 2 p.m. These programs are also on each Friday in June. Adults may also complete a reading log for a prize. There will be a program finale on June 30 at 7 p.m. at the Belle Plaine Aquatic Center, with a swimming party and food.

The next used book sale will begin July 9 and will be during regular library hours. We are now accepting books for the sale that are in good repair.

Book club on July 20 at 7 p.m. will be discuss “Black and Blue” by Anna Quindlen. If you would like a book to read, please come to the library to get one. If you need more information, call Kristi at 444-2902.
