BEYER PATCH MEAT GOATS

Some other "guardians" of the farm include our Chickens and Milkie Way the llama- Who has been center stage at the live Nativity in Grinnell Iowa for numerous years now.

The main guardians of the livestock are our beautiful white dogs.  Vickie takes education very seriously and is one expert in Iowa about their use and care in the Midwest states.

The below picture (taken by Vickie) won the honor of the front cover of the SHEEP magazine.  WAY TO GO Vickie!

On December first 2002, I was given the exclusive rights to interview two of the alien management agents who work for The Beyer Land and Cattle Co. - Sheep Division.   They were very kind to take time from their schedules for interviews with me and actually let me hang out with them and take pictures of them with no inhibitions.  A special thanks to the Beyer Co. for the access to these restricted areas.

They call me MR. QUINN

I am so pretty!  Aren't I!

I can barely believe it myself but, I am the ultimate in canine flesh....have you noticed how perfect I am?  I have a resume....  See later pictures for the complete details.

I am so good I should be Cloned!

Don't you think?

The following are mostly of me working!  I work very hard all day all night never a break!  MMMMM I love me life.

Who do you think you are sneakin' up here like that all in my face and scarin' my best buds here?

Did you hear me? I said "git on out o' here"  #^$@%$#^*

My Sheep, I love my sheep, they are mine all mine!

Okay do you see the difference here?  I am MR. QUINN they are sheep don't tag the dog!

Sometimes I get kinda sleepy during my afternoon watch. MMMM sun feels so nice and I am so sleepy mmmmm zz mmmm I'M AWAKE!

Sometimes I just feel fluffy and cuddly and fuzzy and wuzzy and ohhhhhh just hug me Please Please Pweezz.

OH and don't forget about my SO (significant other) Her name is Luna and she is a bit above it all but really nice when you get to know her!  She is so much more serious than I am she should learn to lighten up!

I like to romp and play and goof -- but not her, never a moment of let down for her, she patrols constantly she wouldn't even sit down to have her beautiful picture taken.  She is named after the moon a beautiful name, she is LUNA!

Here she is on patrol!

That's all she does!  I want to roll and chase but nooooooo...

She wouldn't even hardly do this interview but I hear she spoke briefly to the reporter.

"Smell that beautiful wind nice cold and crisp.  Nothing suspicious!

I suppose I better make an other trip around the perimeter just to be sure.

I will check back in with you in a while after I check on the rest of the farm.

Later, I have work to do! "

And Luna strode towards the fence in a loose yet purposeful gait.  Her head was held high still searching on the wind for her direction without an other though of me she was completely consumed by her work.
