Welcome to our Homepage. We are working on it right now so please come back and see what has been added. We plan to add photos as soon as we can get the scanner working. What with upgrading software and Daniel's busy work schedule, we do not have the scanner working.

Right now we have a little biography on each one of us.

David is a Lutheran Pastor serving two congregations. Immanuel of Lone Rock (Lott's Creek) Iowa and St. Luke's of Cylinder (Fairville) Iowa. Both churches are out in the country and are about 6 miles apart. David plays cello and enjoys participating in the Ft. Dodge Symphony and enjoys any other opportunity he has to play. Jane is a stay at home mother who manages to keep real busy. She is involved in several church organizations as well as community and school activities. She also makes sure everyone gets to where they need to be and on time. She also enjoys reading and keeping the family scrapbooks up to date.  Jane's email address is

Daniel is a Sophomore at Concordia University Nebraska (Seward) majoring in Computer Science. His plans are to graduate in May 2005 and be able to get work as a computer programmer. He also enjoys music and plays bassoon in the Concordia Concert Band. With this band, he has visited Texas while they were on a tour. In May of 2003, they plan a tour to Africa. In addition to computers and music, Daniel enjoys video games. His web page is located here.

Michelle is a High School Junior. She enjoys music (both vocal and instrumental on the flute), speech and drama. She leaves July 16, 2002 for a year stay in Germany as an exchange student. She will spend a month learning the language and culture in Ingolstadt and will live with the Kroger family in Manching. She will spend the rest of the year in Dusseldorf with the Biermann family. Andrew is an eighth grader. He enjoys music (plays the trombone), computers and computer games as well as video games. We can see him doing something with computers also. You can email him at Jane's email address.

We have hosted two exchange students in the past. Lace Gjoni from Albania from January through June of 2000. Mirja Koch from Augsburg Germany for the 2000 2001 school year. We will host Chan-Hon Lee from Korea for the 2002 2003 school year.

Our family enjoys spending time together. We like to play card and board games, travel and sightsee, visit family in other parts of the country and for relaxation watch television and movies. We support the school events also. They have many athletic, music, drama and speech events during the school year.

We moved to Iowa in April of 1999. Before that we have lived in Culbertson, Pawnee City and Axtell Nebraska; Ft. Wayne Indiana and Jamestown North Dakota.
