You may have noticed that many of the pages in your book have a Q & A section above the verses. What you may not have noticed is that you are supposed to memorize the answers to those questions and recite them to your leader. I'll give you a hint here: MEMORIZE THEM NOW TO SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TROUBLE LATER! You will be expected to go back and recite them (when you least expect it!) and you'll also need to know a backup verse for each answer.

After you look over the answers to the question, test your memory on the backup verses.



Who is the Lord Jesus?



The Lord Jesus...



...is God.      John 1:1      John 10:30

...is the Son of God.      Matthew 14:33      Matthew 16:16

...is grace and truth.      John 1:14      John 14:6

...shows us how much God loves us.      1 John 4:9      Luke 19:10

...came to earth as a baby.      Isaiah 9:6      Luke 2:11

..."showed" He is the Son of God.      John 21:25      Matthew 11:5

...died for our sins. He is our Savior.      1 Peter 2:24      Isaiah 53:5

...rose from the dead.      Matthew 28:6      John 11:25
