Model T Rear Axle Rebuilding

The Differential (Above Left) Is Removed From The Axle Halves (Above Right).

Parts Are Cleaned(Above Left) Checked & Painted For Assembly(Above Right).The Axle Assembly With Differential Is Opened, Cleaned Checked And Repaired As Needed. New Axel Bearing Sleeves Installed In Housings.

Assembled With New Brass Thrust Washers, Bearings Etc. The Thrust Washers Are Fitted Using Dial Indicators To Get Precise Fit. The Drive Shaft Is Also Fitted With New Bushing And Thrust Bearing.

Left The Rear Spring After Cleaning And Painting. Right Is After Spring Has Been Assembled And New Shackle Bushings Installed.
