Dolfun was painted from an original family vaction photo from many years ago. This acrylic painting, original size 20"x24", captures real aquatic life at play.

Bulldog Day, (the image to the right) a mascot styled painting, was inspired by my family's love of bulldogs and my love of animals.


Wolf Song

The Wolfsong ( 30x26") is a personal favorite, the wolf is emerging from the cliffs and singing about the metamorphasis.

Both Hawk and Cari's Crock are examples of pastel portraits.

Cari's Crock (the image to the right) is part of a series based on several photo's of Cari claiming a Red Wing Crock (four gallons) as her own.

Cat is a Redhead study of Olivia. The model was Pam Anderson.

Both Brushy Creek Bridge(20x16") & Confederate Hellcat G2 (20x24") are done in Pen and Ink. The Brushy Creek Bridge piece is part of a series of America's most famous covered bridges.

The Confederate Hellcat G2 is an example of a commissioned piece; you may submit a photo of a favorite motocycle and commission your own original Pen and Ink (or mixed medium). Or perhaps you would like a set of your favorite covered bridges from America's heartland, captured in pen and ink. Both Angkor Wat I & Angkor Wat II are part of a series on Cambodian Angkor Wat. The watercolor series is based on 12th century Buddhist and Hindu temples, spectacles of human wonder and the struggle between the ruins and the hungry trees which add to Angkor's grandeur and this artists enduring fascination to paint Angkor Wat.

Churchill (image to the right) is my favorite small watercolor. It is based on a son's trip to watch Canadian Polar bears migrate.
