Clash of the Titans is based off of ancient Greek myths. The story follows the son of Zeus on his journeys though the ancient land. Persius, the brave and strong son of Zeus and a mortal mother, is banished from his home. He grows up on a remote island with his mother before being plucked out by Hera, the angry wife of Zeus. She sends him off on a hunt of sorts. He travels the world, meeting up with magical creatures, gods, and demons. Along the way, he picks up Pegasus. This winged horse helps his find and escape dangers all along the way. He also seeks out Medusa, and is warned that her stare turns any man into stone. He is tested to prove his character and his right to be accepted by the Greek gods and goddesses. And, of course, as in any good fable there is a love story. Persius has to battle the deadly Kraken for the life of the beautiful princess.
