Joan of Arc (1999) is a historical French movie about the history of France. Joan of Arc (Milla Jovovich) is a young girl that, after she has a vision with God, wants to defend her own country, France, againsts the supremacy of England. Because it is illegal for a girl to join the army she cuts her long hair and dresses up like a man. She ends up being the victim of a political complot and will be sold to England as a slave. This is a story about a hero, a Saint and based on the old legend of faith in a God.
