Carrie was a sweet mannered girl, plain but not ugly. She always tried give her best performance even when the other girls made fun of her. At home was not better because her mother always used the bible at its worst to gain her power over her. Yes she is dammed indeed. was the way she saw herself. Something in her was just picking its way outside of her, something evil. She tried not to be the wickest part of herself, she lived with that fear all the time. All the strength could not have kept that rage inside her when that bucket of blood came down on her, she had had enough. All of jokes, laughs and preaching were finally laid at rest, Carrie finally had come out of her shell. What was sweet turned hideous and what was plain was now bright, bright as the color red.
