God’s Word tells us that for Christ’s mission for His Church to be carried out according to His Will, WE, HIS FOLLOWERS, ARE TO:

PRACTICE FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER.  Acts 2:42

 

WITNESS TO ALL PEOPLE.  Acts 1:8

 

HELP EACH OTHER GROW IN THE WORD.  Eph. 4:11-14

 

SERVE THE NEEDS OF ALL PEOPLE IN CHRISTIAN LOVE.  Gal. 6:10

 

ADMINISTER THE OFFICE OF THE KEYS AS HIS CHURCH.  John 20:21-23

 

FUNCTION AS MEMBERS OF THE BODY.  Romans 12:1-5

We, the members of Trinity Lutheran Church, acknowledge that since “Christ died for all,” we should “no longer live for ourselves but for Him Who died for us and was raised again” (2 Cor. 5:15).  Therefore, we dedicate ourselves and our congregation to the carrying out of the Great Commission of our Savior in our congregation, our community, and the world to the best of our God-given abilities and resources.  We dedicate ourselves to continued spiritual growth by increasing efforts in worship, fellowship, witnessing, education, spiritual care, and service among God’s people and all of our neighbors.
