Pastor conducts funeral service for Mary Fleck... FPC doing Meals on Wheels... Service at Assisted Living Center Sept. 9, went well with a good mixture of residents and members... Session meeting hears a good report coming out of summer months... Choir lends itself to God's music ministry in our midst.... PW Salad Supper well attended and followed with a good program on Senior Resources... Elders met with Deacons Sept 20, and emphasize carrying for all members.... New Copier/Printer machine is here and up and running.... 4&5 grade class finds out about adopted turtle nest...CROP Walk already getting walkers and sponsors; Date for Walk is Sept. 30, around Durant, starts and ends at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.... Community Women's Bible Study meets here each Tuesday @ 9:00 a.m... Interest in an evening study group points to Sunday evening... Jesus bears and clothing received and shared at Mandevu... Mandevu invites us to attend the dedication of the Community based Child (Orphan ) Care Center (CBCC) in December 07... Prayers are being answered in powerful ways for some..
